Remote Control Blinds

All of our blinds can be operated via a remote-control unit. These remotes can control an individual blind or as many blinds as you want depending on the manufacturer.

What are the basic controls?

The majority of the remote control blinds allow you to set a top and bottom stop limit, as well as a favorite position. In some instances, you can select a number of different stop positions. Most remotes will allow you to control blinds individually as well as groups of blinds. The greater the functionality of the remote the higher the cost.

What extra functions do more complex remotes have?

For example, some of our remotes come with LCD displays and allow you to use timer functions to programme groups of blinds for specific times of day. There is even functionality that allows the blind timings to adjust to changes to daylight hours or integrate with Nest so that blinds close if your Nest thermostat reaches a certain temperature.

Some of our more specialised suppliers provide motors with the corresponding remote control that also allow you to tilt slatted blinds or work with motorised perfect blinds.
