When do you use a cassette?
If you are in the position, as most of our customers are, that you are retro-fitting the blinds then adding a blind pocket or creating a recess would involve hiring builders and the cost and disruption that that involves. Installing the blind within a cassette is a far better option as it hides the internal workings of the blind. In most cases the blind you will choose will be a battery powered blind as it is unlikely that you will have pre-wired mains power to the top of the window or door recess.
What options are there?
The design of the cassette/headrails cases is normally dependent on the manufacturer of the motorised blind and these are available in several colours. In some cases, different manufacturers also stock the same fabrics giving you greater choice on headrail design. We also have the possibility to inlay the fabric into the headcase which provides a really smart finish to the blind when combined with a fabric covered hem bar.
